WILD TOTAL OUTDOORS / ANGLERS ALADDIN’S CAVE I dropped into my pal Brian Conlon of Wild Total Outdoors this morning on a walk about and he has some exciting new products in stock and more coming on line. Brian and Paul Allard, who works in Wild Total Outdoors, have a vast experience between the two of them on the angling scene. It was tight trying to take photographs as the shop is packed with coarse, sea and game angling products plus many outdoors products and a huge range of clothing, lifejackets etc. The new Wild Hoodies are also in and they are super looking. Brian also has a fantastic range of dog food and work wear in stock. Here is just a glimpse of some of the fantastic angling related items in stock and in fairness I have just touched the surface on what’s available in Wild Total Outdoors.

AMPAC BATTERIES & SMART CHARGER: Just in this week are the range of deep cycle batteries and smart chargers. There is a Marine 85 and Marine 100 – you can zoom in on the pictures to see the voltage etc. These and the 8A electronic smart charger will keep your engine and electric devices motoring.

LURES & REELS & RODS: Paul Allard was busy sorting out the new display and extensive range of Westin W3 & W4 rods – they really are a super range of rods and Wild Total Outdoors also has an extensive range of reels to choose from. The Westin range of lures is just mind blowing and the colour and size range is out of this world. Now that we will be perch fishing and with the trout season to start soon, I was hugely impressed with the range of Berkley Power Bait lures. They are very fishy looking and realistic. The range of fly lines for this coming season are also on display with all the leading brands to choose from – Rio, Airflow and Grays just to mention a few.

WHO LET THE MOUSE OUT: The pike & predator range in Wild Total Outdoors has to be seen to be believed as across the Midlands we have some of the best pike water in Europe. A massive range of lures are displayed including the colourful Miuras Mouse in many colours. Brian also keeps his freezer of dead bait well stocked along with a huge range of pike float kits and multicolor alarm kits.

KEEP SAFE & WARM: Wild Total Outdoors has just received a new range of Alpen camping heaters which are displayed next to the portable stoves. The Kelly Kettle range comes in different sizes and the lance 140mm handheld light is also available. These will all come in handy if you want to self isolate on the lakes and river banks or next summer if you want to go camping for an angling adventure. Finally before I drifted out of Wild Total Outdoors my eyes locked on the huge display of lifejackets for young and us older anglers.

THAT’S IT: That’s it for the moment from Wild Total Outdoors here in Mullingar but I will be back in the coming weeks when more fishy items are coming on line. Brian can be contacted on 086-8180447, the shop number is 0449301133 where you can contact Paul or Brian or e- mail bricon6@gmail.com , www.wildtotaloutdoors.com . Wild Total Outdoors is situated next to Harbour Court Shopping Center at Friars Mill Road. Harbour Court Shopping Center has coffee machines, a nice deli counter and better still €1 for 3 hours parking. Plenty of time to check out Aladdins Cave for anglers in Wild Total Outdoors.
