Trilogy written by Anthony O’Malley Daly

Fellow Angler Fergal Symth is now working for the Asthma Society and was approached at Christmas in relation to a book called Trilogy which was written by Anthony O’Malley Daly. I don’t know if you are familiar with the book which was launched by Anthony in December 2012. He was a great character and the book is a three-part volume that included his autobiography, including his lifelong struggle with asthma (“My Life – My Way”), excerpts from his columns (“Sixty Years of Angling”), and the collection of fishing stories from his family and friends (“Injun Joe – Fishing Stories”). It’s a fantastic read, a 350 page hardbound book and Anthony requested that the profits from the book are distributed to the Asthma Society and Parkinson’s Association of Ireland.

Fergal was contacted in December this year with the sad news that Anthony had died on the 22nd of November 2013 and asking if we would distribute his book from the Asthma Society of Ireland. I now have copies of the book for sale at a cost of €20 for anyone that can call to our offices in 42-43 Amiens Street, Dublin 1 to collect the book or €20 + P&P for anyone that would like to contact us for a copy. I would appreciate if you could make it known to all of your fishing contacts that this book is available for purchase to anyone that wants to contact us here at the Asthma Society of Ireland.
